CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 196, OF AUGUST 26, 1992.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION - CVM makes public that, the Collegiate Board, in a session held on this date, and in accordance with the provisions of item II of Article 1, items I and II of Article 8, and item "a" of item II of Article 18 of Law No. 6,385 of December 7, 1976, HAS RESOLVED:

Art. 1 Article 13 of CVM Instruction No. 93, of December 26, 1988, shall be effective with the following wording:

"Open companies whose shares are traded on stock exchanges may only cancel this registration, with a view to having their securities traded in the over-the-counter market, after the requirements established in items I and III of Article 1 of CVM Instruction No. 185, of February 27, 1992, are met."

Art. 2 This Instruction shall enter into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Union.
