CVM Instruction No. 344 of August 17, 2000

CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 344, OF AUGUST 17, 2000.
Regulates the simultaneous trading of securities issued by the same company.

The PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION - CVM makes public that the Collegiate Body, in a meeting held on August 11, 2000, and in accordance with the provisions of item III of § 6 of art. 21 of Law No. 6,385, of December 7, 1976, HAS DECIDED to issue the following Instruction:

Art. 1
This Instruction regulates the simultaneous trading of securities issued by the same company in stock or organized over-the-counter markets.

Art. 2
The simultaneous trading of other securities, with the exception of shares, of a company in a market distinct from that in which its shares are traded may occur provided that trading registration has been obtained in the various markets.

Art. 3
Article 2 of CVM Instruction No. 202, of December 6, 1993, is hereby revoked.

Art. 4
This Instruction enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Union.
