CVM Instruction No. 374 of August 6, 2002

CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 374, OF AUGUST 6, 2002.

Adds the sole paragraph to Article 4 of CVM Instruction No. 303, of May 5, 1999.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION - CVM makes public that the Collegiate Body, in a meeting held on this date, based on the provisions of Articles 2, item V, and 8, item I, of Law No. 6,385, of December 7, 1976, resolved to issue the following Instruction:

Article 1. Article 4 of CVM Instruction No. 303, of May 5, 1999, shall enter into force with the following sole paragraph added:

"Sole paragraph. The limits provided for in the caput of this article do not apply to investments, by funds intended exclusively for qualified investors, in convertible or exchangeable debentures of open companies." (NR)

Article 2. This Instruction enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Union.
