CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 383, OF FEBRUARY 3, 2003.

Amends the wording of item III of Article 21 of CVM Instruction No. 382, of January 28, 2003.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION - CVM, makes public that the Collegiate Board, in a session held on this date, based on Article 18, item II, letters "a" and "c", of Law No. 6,385, of December 7, 1976, HAS DECIDED to issue the following Instruction:

Article 1

Item III of Article 21 of CVM Instruction No. 382, of January 28, 2003, shall be effective with the following wording:

“Article 21. ...

I - ...

II - ...

III - brokers, special operators, and other participants who operate directly in the trading and registration systems of the exchanges shall have 30 (thirty) days counted from the date of CVM approval of the operating rules to draft the rules provided for in Articles 6, 7, 8, and 9, as well as to comply with the provisions of Article 14, all of this Instruction. Article 2

This Instruction shall enter into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Union.
