CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 416, OF MARCH 29, 2005.

Establishes a deadline for the adaptation of the portfolio of extramarket investment funds.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION - CVM makes public that the Collegiate Board, in a meeting held on this date, in view of the provisions of Articles 2 and 19 of Law No. 6,385, of December 7, 1976, and of CMN Resolution No. 2,917, with wording given by CMN Resolution No. 3,267, of March 10, 2005, resolved to issue the following Instruction:

Art. 1 Extramarket investment funds, as provided for in CMN Resolution No. 2,917, of December 19, 2001, shall have a period of 60 (sixty) days, counted from the effective date of this Instruction, to adapt their portfolios to the provisions of Articles 3, 4, and 5 of the aforementioned Resolution, with wording given by CMN Resolution No. 3,267, of March 10, 2005.

Art. 2 This Instruction enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Union.
