CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 479, OF DECEMBER 7, 2009

Amends CVM Instruction No. 422, of September 20, 2005

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION – CVM makes public that the Collegiate Body, in a meeting held on June 3, 2009, and based on art. 2, §§ 2 and 3, art. 4, items V, VI and VII, art. 8, item I, art. 9, item V and § 2, art. 21, § 6, of Law No. 6.385, of December 7, 1976, APPROVED the following Instruction:

Art. 1 The summary, arts. 1 and 22 of CVM Instruction No. 422, of September 20, 2005, shall enter into force with the following wording:

“Provides for the issuance of Commercial Note of Agribusiness for public distribution and the registration of public distribution offer of this security”

“Art. 1 This Instruction provides for the Commercial Note of Agribusiness – NCA and regulates the respective registration of public distribution offer.” (NR)

“Art. 22 The registration of public distribution offer of NCA shall be deemed effective if the respective request is not denied within 10 (ten) business days after its presentation to the CVM, through protocol, with the documents and information required.”

Art. 2 This Instruction enters into force on January 1, 2010.
