CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 500, OF JULY 15, 2011

Amends Article 1 of CVM Instruction No. 476, of January 16, 2009.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION - CVM makes public that the Collegiate Board, in a meeting held on July 13, 2011, based on arts. 4, 8, item I, and 19, § 5, of Law No. 6,385, of December 7, 1976, and on art. 39 of Law No. 12,249, of June 11, 2010,

APPROVED the following Instruction:

Art. 1 Article 1 of CVM Instruction No. 476, of January 16, 2009, shall be effective with the following wording:

“Art. 1 ......

§ 1 ......

V - real estate or agribusiness receivables certificates;

VI - financial letters, provided they are not related to tied active operations;

VII - agribusiness credit rights certificates;

VIII - rural product promissory notes - financial ones that are not the responsibility of a financial institution; and

IX - agribusiness warrants.

Art. 2 This Instruction enters into force on the date of its publication.
