Derivative reporting requirements under UK EMIR: Additional draft Q&As
The FCA and the Bank of England consulted on two additional draft Q&As addressing issues identified by market participants regarding derivatives data reporting under Article 9 of UK EMIR. These draft questions covered derivatives identifiers and asset class and product specifics, with finalized versions anticipated for publication in October 2025. The consultation sought feedback to ensure data completeness and consistency for systemic risk monitoring. The Q&As have since been finalized and appended to the relevant sections of the UK EMIR reporting Q&As.
