Draft Securities Industry (Fees) Rules, 2026
The Securities Commission of The Bahamas proposes the Securities Industry (Fees) Rules, 2026, which prescribe application, registration, and annual renewal fees for persons registered under the Securities Industry Act, 2024. These rules replace the Securities Industry (Fees) Rules, 2024 and establish specific fee structures for capital markets businesses, including marketplaces, clearing facilities, and firms engaged in dealing, managing, or advising on capital markets instruments. The draft rules also set filing fees for prospectuses and other documents, administrative fees for corporate actions, and a quarterly activity fee for registered CFD firms, with an effective date of 1 January, 2027.
