The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System issued a final rule amending Regulation D to reflect the annual statutory indexation of reserve requirement parameters for 2024. The rule maintains the reserve requirement exemption amount at $36.1 million and decreases the low reserve tranche to $644.0 million, effective January 1, 2024. These adjustments are required by statute but do not alter the zero percent reserve requirement ratios established in March 2020.
