FDIC Proposed Rule on Disclosure of Information
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to update and simplify its regulations regarding the disclosure of confidential information. The proposal would allow insured depository institutions to share confidential supervisory information with affiliates and certain third parties for business purposes without prior FDIC authorization.
