FE Circular No. 17: Business-to-Consumer export through sales orders received on internet
Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh are permitted to provide acquiring services for the repatriation of export proceeds from Business-to-Consumer sales of goods via e-Commerce websites. This facility is restricted to small-value exports in Cost and Freight terms not exceeding USD 5,000 per transaction. Authorized Dealers must hold merchant agreements with exporters, certify simplified EXP Forms upon receipt of full proceeds in convertible foreign currency, and credit funds to exporter accounts within 14 days of shipment.
