FINRA Board of Governors Upcoming Election: Nominee Announcement and Petition Period Start Date
FINRA announces J. Bradford Eichler as the nominee for the Large Firm Governor seat and opens a 45-day petition period for the Small Firm Governor seat, which has no committee nominee. Petitions must be submitted by June 30, 2025, and require signatures from at least 5 large firms or 88 small firms to qualify a candidate for the proxy. The annual meeting to elect these governors is scheduled for approximately August 18, 2025, with elected officials serving three-year terms.
