2 files · 26 PDF pages

Participating Authorized Institutions must conduct a climate risk stress test using a static balance sheet based on positions as of 31 December 2022, assuming no new loans and rolling over maturing positions without replenishing defaults. They must assess impacts on their entire balance sheet and off-balance sheet exposures, covering credit, operational, and transition risks across all business sectors using GICS classifications. Quantitative and qualitative analyses must be documented, including assumptions and methodologies, and submitted to the HKMA with reporting templates.
