IOEAMA UNSCR List of UN Sanctioned Haitian Nationals
The Securities Commission of The Bahamas directs all licensees and registrants to review a list of seven United Nations Sanctioned Haitian Nationals and submit information regarding any bank accounts or assets held by these individuals. Submissions must be sent to the Commission by email, and any positive matches must be reported to the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Office of the Attorney General within 24 hours. Failure to submit required reports constitutes an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding $250,000.00, and non-compliance with Commission directives may result in disciplinary action including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day.
