IOEAMA UNSCR Ref SC16365 ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida 21 May 2026
The Securities Commission of The Bahamas informs licensees and registrants that the UN Security Council removed seven individuals from the ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List on 21 May 2026. Consequently, the asset freeze, travel ban, and arms embargo previously applied to these individuals no longer apply. Licensees and registrants are required to exclude these seven names from their maintained lists of UN designated entities and individuals and must regularly consult the UNSC website to ensure continued compliance and accurate record keeping.
