IOEAMA UNSCR Ref SC16416 Democratic Republic of Congo
The Securities Commission of The Bahamas directs all licensees and registrants to report any positive matches against newly added United Nations Security Council sanctions list entries for the Democratic Republic of Congo within 24 hours of this notice. Reports must be submitted to the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Office of the Attorney General, with confirmation sent to the Commission. Failure to submit these reports constitutes an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding $250,000.00, and non-compliance may result in disciplinary action including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day.
