Rule · CVM · 23 Sep 1999
Leasing and mortgage companies must remunerate debentures using fixed rates, TR, TJLP (min 1-month term), TBF (min 2-month term), or floating rates. Fixed-rate plus price-index updates require a 1-year term, public indices, and annual application. Prohibitions include exchange rate clauses, multiple remuneration bases, and price-index-based premiums. CRIs are covered, and existing debentures are subject to these rules upon first repricing after publication.
