JOINT DECISION 11
BANK OF BRAZIL
SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION

Extends the deadline set forth in Joint Decision 10, of 2002, of the Bank of Brazil and the Securities and Exchange Commission, for the preparation of a draft agreement to be signed between the two agencies.

The Collegiate Board of the Bank of Brazil and the Collegiate Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission, in view of the provisions of Laws 4.595, of December 31, 1964, and 6.385, of December 7, 1976, as amended by Law 10.303, of October 31, 2001,

HAVE DECIDED:

Art. 1 Extend by thirty more days the deadline established in Art. 2 of Joint Decision 10, of May 2, 2002 of the Bank of Brazil and the Securities and Exchange Commission, so that the working group, constituted by members of the respective agencies, drafts a cooperation agreement establishing deadlines and operational procedures to be adopted regarding matters related to Law 6.385, of December 7, 1976, as amended by Law 10.303, of October 31, 2001.

Art. 2 This joint decision enters into force on the date of its publication.
