Revokes norms relating to investment funds, issued by the Central Bank of Brazil jointly with the Securities and Exchange Commission, that have lost their function or resulted from Law 10,303 of 2001.
The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil and the Collegiate Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission,
Having regard to the competence attributed to the latter agency, pursuant to Laws 10,303 of October 31, 2001, and 10,411 of February 26, 2002, which amend and add provisions to Law 6,385 of December 7, 1976, regarding the issuance of norms on investment funds,
HAVE DECIDED:
Art. 1. Revoke Joint Communications 16 of October 21, 1986, 19 of August 27, 1987, 27 of May 3, 1990, 34 and 35, both of May 9, 1991, 38 of August 16, 1991, and 42 of September 18, 1991, and Joint Decision 5 of November 17, 1997, all issued by the Central Bank of Brazil and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Art. 2. This joint decision enters into force on the date of its publication.
