Dear Sir,
Subject: Determination of BACH and RTGS schedules for the Holy Month of Ramadan of Hijri 1443 (2022 AD). During the Holy Month of Ramadan of Hijri 1443, on working days other than weekly and public holidays, the activities of Bangladesh Automated Clearing House BACH (BACPS & BEFTN) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) will be conducted according to the following schedule.
1) Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) Transactions:
a) BACPS High Value Clearing - Presentment Cut off Time - 11:30 AM, Return Cut off Time - 1:30 PM and Regular Value Clearing - Presentment Cut off Time - 12:00 PM, Return Cut off Time - 3:00 PM b) On the aforementioned days, two BEFTN sessions will remain active according to the previous schedule.
2) Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) Transactions:
a) All transactions 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM b) Customs Duty E-Payment (Pacs.008 with TTC 41), Interbank Fund Transfer (Pacs.009) & Returns Transaction (Pacs.004) 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM c) Interbank Fund Transfer (Pacs.009) & Return Transaction (Pacs.004) 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM
3) After the Holy Month of Ramadan, the BACH and RTGS schedules will revert to their pre-Ramadan state.
