Publication of Russian Harmful Foreign Activities Sanctions Regulations Determinations
The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) publishes determinations and general licenses implementing sanctions against Russia under Executive Orders 14024 and 14068. These determinations prohibit the importation of specific Russian-origin items, including gold, fish, seafood, and advanced manufacturing equipment, while authorizing foreign financial institutions to handle transactions involving Russia's military-industrial base. Additionally, OFAC issues general licenses 25E, 25F, 108, and 109 to authorize certain telecommunications, internet-based communications, and other transactions otherwise prohibited by the Russian Harmful Foreign Activities Sanctions Regulations.
