The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) published General License 132 to authorize specific transactions involving the Paks II civil nuclear power plant project in Hungary. This license permits U.S. persons to engage with designated Russian financial institutions and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation solely for activities related to the Paks II project. The authorization remains valid until 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time on April 29, 2026, subject to exclusions regarding correspondent accounts and blocked persons.
