National supervisory authorities are recommended to closely monitor US dollar funding and liquidity risks, including maturity mismatches and funding concentrations, and to limit exposures before they reach excessive levels. Authorities must also ensure credit institutions include management actions for US dollar funding shocks in their contingency funding plans and assess the feasibility of these actions to prevent simultaneous systemic risks. Addressees are required to report actions taken or justify inaction to the ESRB and the Council by 30 June 2012.
