The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System adopted final amendments to Regulation A to reflect an increase in the primary credit rate charged by Federal Reserve Banks. The primary credit rate was raised by 0.75 percentage points to 2.50 percent, while the secondary credit rate automatically increased to 3.00 percent based on the established formula. These rate changes became applicable on July 28, 2022, and the regulatory amendments took effect on August 9, 2022.
