Regulation to amend Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements
The Minister of Finance approved the Autorité des marchés financiers' regulation amending Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements. The amendments introduce Part 3D to permit ETFs to file facts documents without a prospectus and establish a 24-month lapse date for ETF prospectus validity with specific extension conditions. The regulation also excludes investment funds from certain prospectus requirements and updates related forms and transition provisions effective March 3, 2025.
