Regulation to amend Regulation 81-102 respecting Investment Funds
The Minister of Finance of Quebec approved the Autorité des marchés financiers' Regulation to amend Regulation 81-102 respecting Investment Funds. The amendment introduces a defined "reference settlement date" to replace fixed business day calculations in Section 9.4, allowing mutual funds to determine settlement timing in writing. This regulation came into force on August 31, 2024, with a specific filing-based effective date provision for Saskatchewan.
