The Central Bank of Bolivia amends Article 9 of its Regulation on the Monetization, Distribution, and Destruction of Monetary Material to mandate that financial institutions dispense Bolivian banknotes of 10, 20, 50, and 100 denominations through automated teller machines. Institutions with four or more trays must stock these denominations in at least 70% of their ATMs, while those with fewer trays have specific distribution requirements. Financial entities are also required to report the locations dispensing foreign currency to the ASFI and clearly identify ATMs dispensing foreign currency to the public.
