THE CENTRAL BANK OF BRAZIL, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the MONETARY COUNCIL, in a session held on this date, considering the provisions of Article 4, items VI and VIII of the aforementioned Law, and Article 1 of Law No. 7,464, of April 18, 1986,
RESOLVES:
I - To establish that the use of the mechanical stamp in promissory notes issued or endorsed by the issuer, as well as in contracts for the purchase and sale of foreign currency and any other documents executed by financial institutions and other institutions authorized to operate by the Central Bank of Brazil, must comply with the norms, regarding this matter, issued by the Central Bank of Brazil.
II - This Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
