Resolution CMN No. 2573 — Provisions on the Assignment of Real Estate Credits to Real Estate Credit Securitization Companies

Resolution CMN No. 2573 permits financial institutions to assign real estate credits to real estate credit securitization companies established under Law No. 9,514/1997 with co-obligation, exempting such transactions from the conditions and restrictions of Article 7 of Resolution No. 2,561/1998. Credits assigned with co-obligation must continue to be included in the calculation of provisions for doubtful liquidation credits, applying the same criteria used for credits held by the assigning institution. The assigning institution remains responsible for monitoring the status of credits that become abnormal after assignment. The resolution entered into force on the date of its publication, December 17, 1998.
