RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF THE NATIONAL BANK

OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for conducting

exchange operations with cash foreign currency

in the Kyrgyz Republic

Having considered the draft "Regulation on the procedure for conducting exchange operations with cash foreign currency in the Kyrgyz Republic", taking into account the comments and proposals of authorized banks of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic resolves:

1. To approve the "Regulation on the procedure for conducting exchange operations with cash foreign currency in the Kyrgyz Republic" (attached) and to put it into effect from the day of state registration with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.

2. To recognize as no longer in force the "Instruction on the procedure for organizing the work of exchange points (bureaus) in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic", approved by resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic of 28 September 1995 No. 23/2, from the day of entry into effect of the "Regulation on the procedure for conducting exchange operations with cash foreign currency in the Kyrgyz Republic".

3. For the Legal Department of the NBKR to carry out registration with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic of the "Regulation on the procedure for conducting exchange operations with cash foreign currency in the Kyrgyz Republic".

4. For authorized banks and exchange bureaus to bring their activities into compliance with the requirements of the "Regulation on the procedure for conducting exchange operations with cash foreign currency in the Kyrgyz Republic".

5. For the Banking Supervision Department of the NBKR to bring this resolution to the attention of the regional departments of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, authorized banks and authorized legal entities that have concluded an agreement with the NBKR on the collection and compilation of information on operations of exchange bureaus.

6. For authorized banks and authorized legal entities to bring this resolution to the attention of exchange bureaus that provide daily reporting.

7. To assign control over the execution of this resolution to K.Sh. Sharshekeeva, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
