Securities Commission of The Bahamas Notice on UN Sanctions List Update for ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida

The Securities Commission of The Bahamas informs licensees and registrants that the UN Security Council added Islamic State In Iraq And the Levant In South-East Asia to its sanctions list on 27 January 2023. Licensees and registrants must confirm compliance with relevant anti-terrorism regulations within 30 days of the notice and quarterly thereafter using Form 1A or 1B, and file an annual declaration by 31 January each year. Failure to submit required reports may result in disciplinary action, including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day per order.
