NEW BANK ACTIVITY

On November 18, 2002, pursuant to Section 36a-70 of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended by Public Acts 02-47, 02-89 and 02-21, a Final Certificate of Authority was issued to Connecticut River Community Bank , 1142 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, Connecticut. The bank opened for business on November 18, 2002.

ACQUISITION

On November 18, 2002, pursuant to Section 36a-185 of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Commissioner issued a notice of intent not to disapprove the acquisition by Gordon Gund - Grant Gund Trust and Gordon Gund - G. Zachary Gund Trust of more than 10 percent but less than 25 percent of the voting securities of Connecticut River Community Bank .

CHECK CASHING SERVICE LICENSE ACTIVITY

On November 19, 2002, pursuant to Section 36a-581 of the Connecticut General Statutes, Ace Cash Express, Inc. received approval to operate check cashing service general facilities at the following locations: 593 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, and 90 E. Main Street, New Britain, both in Connecticut.
