The Connecticut Department of Banking issued administrative actions and consent orders against several entities and individuals for violations of the Connecticut Uniform Securities Act. Signal Lake Side Fund, Signal Lake Management, LLC, and Barton W. Stuck received an Order to Cease and Desist and a Notice of Intent to Fine for offering unregistered securities, acting as unregistered investment advisers, and making misleading filings. James Albert Pettit was subject to a Notice of Intent to Deny registrations and a Cease and Desist Order for unethical practices including unauthorized borrowing and self-dealing. RPM Capital Management, LLC and Michele Mary Newland agreed to pay $10,400 in fines and fees for engaging an unregistered agent and failing to maintain adequate supervisory procedures and records. Meyers Associates, L.P. was fined $25,000 and its broker-dealer registration withdrawal became effective, while Ashleigh Cooper Swayze was fined $10,000 for inadequate compliance oversight.
