The FDIC provides regulatory relief to all FDIC-supervised financial institutions operating in Hancock, Harrison, Pearl River, and Stone Counties, Mississippi, following Tropical Storm Arthur. Institutions are encouraged to adjust existing loan terms or restructure loans without criticism, provided such actions align with safe-and-sound banking practices. The FDIC will consider favorable Community Reinvestment Act treatment for community development activities supporting disaster recovery and will evaluate delays in filing Reports of Income and Condition. Additionally, the Dallas Regional Office will expedite requests for temporary banking facilities and assist with publishing requirements for branch closings or relocations.
