The FDIC provides regulatory relief to all FDIC-supervised financial institutions operating in designated Wisconsin counties and the Oneida Indian Reservation following severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding. Institutions are authorized to extend repayment terms, restructure existing loans, or ease terms for new loans without adverse supervisory criticism, provided such actions are consistent with sound banking practices. The FDIC will expedite requests for temporary banking facilities and evaluate acceptable delays in filing Reports of Income and Condition for institutions in affected areas. Additionally, institutions may receive favorable Community Reinvestment Act consideration for community development loans and investments supporting disaster recovery.
