Supplemental Alert: FinCEN Highlights Additional Red Flags Regarding Financing of Israeli Extremist Settler Violence Against Palestinians in the West Bank
The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network provides additional red flag indicators to assist U.S. financial institutions in identifying and reporting suspicious activity related to the financing of Israeli extremist settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank. The alert lists specific indicators, including payments linked to West Bank outposts, accounts held by designated individuals or their immediate family members, and crowdfunding campaigns supporting violent extremists. Financial institutions are requested to continue using the existing Suspicious Activity Report code FIN-2024-WBEXTREMISM and to reference this alert in SAR field 2 and the narrative.
