Treasury Targets Iran-Venezuela Weapons Trade
The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control added seven individuals and four entities to the Specially Designated Nationals List for their roles in Iran-Venezuela weapons trade and proliferation activities. These designations target specific Iranian and Venezuelan actors linked to companies such as Kavoshgaraan Asman Moj Ghadir Company and Empresa Aeronautica Nacional SA under relevant sanctions programs. Concurrently, the Treasury removed four individuals from the list who were previously designated under cyber-related and Russia-related executive orders.
