Venezuela-related Designation Removal; Issuance of Venezuela-related General Licenses and Frequently Asked Question; Publication of Report for Licensing Activities Undertaken Pursuant to the Trade Sanctions Reform and Export Enhancement Act (TSRA)
The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued Venezuela General Licenses 56 and 57 to authorize specific commercial negotiations and financial services transactions involving the Venezuelan government. OFAC also released FAQ 1248 and a Quarterly Report of Licensing Activities for the period of October through December 2025 regarding exports to Iran under the TSRA. Additionally, OFAC removed Reinaldo Enrique Munoz Pedroza from the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List.
