Technical Conduct Standards for Entities in Stock Markets

Stock exchanges, brokerage firms, and fund managers must maintain a Board-approved Code of Ethics covering conflicts of interest, insider information, and market manipulation. Entities must implement continuous conflict management procedures, including real-time reporting, personal trading limits, and a detailed, sequentially numbered register of all conflicts. They must also safeguard insider information through strict access controls and prohibit its use for personal gain or third-party recommendations. These Standards enter into force on January 2, 2018, with non-compliance sanctioned under the Financial System Supervision and Regulation Law.
