Adoption of Updated EDGAR Filer Manual
The Securities and Exchange Commission adopted amendments to Volume II of the EDGAR Filer Manual and Rule 301 of Regulation S-T to align with system upgrades released in June 2022. These changes implement the Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act by introducing a new submission form type for government control documentation and modernize filing fee payment methods by allowing credit and debit card transactions. The rule also removes obsolete exhibits, updates taxonomies, and clarifies technical requirements for investment company filings and substituted compliance orders.
