Adoption of Updated EDGAR Filer Manual
The Securities and Exchange Commission adopted revisions to the EDGAR Filer Manual and amended Regulation S-T to reflect system upgrades supporting new Transfer Agent submission forms, duplicate filings for Form 10-D, and enhanced passphrase update procedures. These changes, effective March 31, 2017, also introduce technical updates for ABS-EE filings, X-17A-5 submissions, and support for the US GAAP 2017 Taxonomy. The Commission incorporated the updated manual by reference into the Code of Federal Regulations to ensure filers comply with current technical formatting requirements for electronic submissions.
