The Central Bank of Uzbekistan amends the Guidance on Opening Bank Accounts by updating the Preamble to align with current legislation, repealing specific clauses regarding signatures and seals, and removing conditional phrases. It introduces a requirement for documents confirming registration with state tax authorities, updates a reference to a 2015 Cabinet of Ministers resolution, and modifies language to clarify that seal usage is optional and only applies if the client possesses one. These changes affect the procedural requirements for opening and managing bank accounts in Uzbekistan.
