Amendments of Public Offering Regulations, 2017
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan amends the Public Offering (Regulated Securities Activities Licensing) Regulations, 2017 by adding definitions for "Companies Act" and "issuer" to regulation 2, while omitting clause (viii) and substituting punctuation in clauses (ix) and (x). The term "Ordinance" is replaced with "Companies Act" in sub-regulation 2(b) of regulation 2, clause (f) of regulation 6, and clause (v) of Schedule III. Additionally, Schedule I is modified to include "a development financial institution" after "scheduled bank" in paragraph 2(3)(i), and the expression "A3" is substituted with "A2" in paragraph 2(3)(ii).
