Working Hours During the Holy Month of Ramadan and Holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha for the Year 1446H
The Saudi Central Bank issued Circular No. 1,687,827 mandating adjusted daily working hours for financial institutions during Ramadan, specifying 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for banks and six flexible hours (9:30 AM–5:30 PM) for financial transfer centers and payment service providers. The circular establishes six working-day holidays for both Eid al-Fitr (March 30–April 2, 2025) and Eid al-Adha (June 5–10, 2025), while requiring continuous operations at branches in Makkah, Madinah, and border crossings during Hajj. Institutions must notify the regulator of specific holiday-operating branches in high-traffic areas and publicly announce their schedules.
