The Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight grants a commodity pool operator relief to prepare annual financial statements using International Financial Reporting Standards instead of US GAAP. This authorization applies to an offshore pool organized under Irish law, subject to conditions including the use of specific valuation methods, reporting of realized and unrealized gains, and preparation of a condensed schedule of investments. The CPO must notify the Division immediately if operations change and remain compliant with all other applicable Commission regulations.
