The Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight grants the commodity pool operator of an offshore pool relief to prepare annual financial statements using International Financial Reporting Standards instead of US GAAP. This exemption is granted subject to conditions requiring the use of specific valuation methods, reporting of realized and unrealized gains and losses, preparation of a condensed schedule of investments, and the absence of special allocations of partnership equity. The relief applies to the CPO of the specified pool and remains valid only upon continued compliance with these stated conditions and accurate representation of the pool's operations.
