Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/930 specifying fees for ESMA supervision of data reporting service providers

Data reporting service providers (DRSPs), including Approved Publication Arrangements (APAs), Approved Reporting Mechanisms (ARMs), and Consolidated Tape Providers (CTPs), must pay application, authorisation, and annual supervisory fees to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). Application fees are set at EUR 20,000 and authorisation fees range from EUR 80,000 to EUR 100,000 depending on the service type, with annual supervisory fees calculated based on applicable turnover and subject to a minimum of EUR 30,000 for APAs and ARMs. CTPs face a standard annual fee of EUR 400,000, with specific pro-rata calculations for providers becoming operational mid-year. Fees must be paid in euro within specified deadlines, and ESMA recovers supervisory costs by reimbursing national competent authorities for delegated tasks.
