Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/911 on regulatory technical standards for cross-border activities of UCITS management companies
The European Commission adopted Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/911 to specify the information management companies must notify to competent authorities regarding cross-border activities under Directive 2009/65/EC. The regulation mandates the inclusion of specific details such as LEI and ISIN codes, branch organizational structures, risk management procedures, and contact information for responsible persons in notifications under Articles 17, 18, and 20. It also requires management companies to inform authorities of any changes to previously provided information or the planned termination of a branch, including winding-down plans. This regulation entered into force on 14 April 2024 and applies from 25 June 2024.
