Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/955 laying down implementing technical standards for the application of Regulation (EU) 2019/1156 with regard to forms, templates, procedures and technical arrangements for publications and notifications of marketing rules, fees and charges, and central database on cross-border marketing of AIFs and UCITS

Competent authorities must publish national marketing requirements for AIFs and UCITS and summaries thereof on their websites using specified templates, and separately publish information on fees and charges levied for cross-border activities. Authorities are required to notify ESMA of the hyperlinks to these publications and any changes within 10 working days, designating single contact points for communication. Home Member State authorities must transmit quarterly data to ESMA for the central database on cross-border marketing via a common XML format through ESMA's notification portal. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following publication, with specific provisions applying from 2 August 2021 and 2 February 2022.
